Purple Computing To Feature On Radio X’s The Chris Moyles Show

Listen now to the clip! Thanks to Chris, Dom, Pippa the rest of the team.

Purple Computing

10 years ago, Purple Computing was born when James Hart dropped out of Uni in London, moved back home to Portsmouth and decided to start helping people to fix their Macs.

From sole trader back then, to a limited company and expert team covering the whole of the south of England today, Purple Computing are making their first foray into the world of radio advertising. Although, it’s not quite what you might expect.

What’s Happening?

As part of Radio X and Global Radio’s Make Some Noise campaign, a charitable donation to this good cause has secured Purple a short feature on the long-running Chris Moyles Show.

Having moved from the Radio 1 breakfast show a few years ago to the brand new Radio X, formerly XFM, Chris and the team (Dominic Byrne, Pippa Taylor, Dave Masterman and numerous others) have been broadcasting the iconic Chris Moyles Show in its new home for a little over 1 year.

Chris and the team will be doing a live promotion…we probably can’t call it an advert for fear of incurring the wrath of the Advertising Standards Authority…all about our Apple specialist IT support company. We have absolutely no idea what the content will be, but expect something very entertaining! It may even be borderline libellous, but frankly, we’re game for a laugh when the listening figures are over 700,000.

So, Chris and the team, bring it on. We can’t wait.

How Can I Listen?

You can listen to Radio X nationwide on digital radio, 104.9 FM in London and 97.7 FM in Manchester.

You can also listen on iPhone or iPad by downloading the Radio X app.

The feature went out on Thursday 6th October at around 07:45. You can listen again using the app or the Radio X website.

Alternatively, we’ve clipped up the audio right here!
