Dropbox is known to be an online file storage, sharing and collaboration tool. In most cases Dropbox serves the same purpose as a traditional in-house file server, without the need for any special hardware, or the associated cost and maintenance overheads.

Standard Dropbox plans do not have any of the team management features that Dropbox Business plans have. With a Business plan, you will have access to an administrator console, centralised billing, access to Dropbox partners, and of course, allowance of multiple users for your team.

With the admin features you will have control over which devices your team members can use to access Dropbox, set up tiered admin roles, always-on security monitoring with notifications and alerts, and audit logs.

With Dropbox, you can define as many organisational teams or departments as you like, all of which can have their own shared folder for collaborating together. Individuals can have their own private folder repository. You can also have a shared folder for everyone in the company. And in all cases, you can share specific files and folders instantly and securely between colleagues or your external clients and suppliers.

Teams and colleagues can chat about documents from within Dropbox, making it simple and efficient to gather opinions on collaborative pieces of work.
